• Set a budget — Only play with money you can afford to lose. Only spend amounts you have budgeted for entertainment, not funds needed for essential expenses.
• Set time limits — Competitive gaming can be engaging. Set a daily or weekly time limit for yourself and stick to it.
• Don't chase losses — Losing games is a normal part of competitive play. Avoid the urge to immediately increase your stakes to recover losses.
• Take breaks — Regular breaks improve decision-making and keep the experience enjoyable.

Consider taking a break or reaching out for support if you notice any of the following:

• You are spending more time or money on ProfitChess than intended
• You are neglecting responsibilities, relationships, or personal health
• You feel irritable or anxious when not playing
• You are using gaming as an escape from personal problems
• You are borrowing money to fund your gaming activity
• You are hiding your gaming activity from family or friends

ProfitChess provides tools to help you manage your activity:

• Account closure — You can close your account at any time by contacting support. Unused balances are refundable upon closure.
• Support tickets — If you are experiencing issues related to compulsive play, contact our support team and we will work with you to restrict or close your account promptly.
